School Age Learn to Swim
The focus of the curriculum at SWIMZ Bendigo is teaching water safety first then progressing into the foundations of learning freestyle and backstroke through body position, kick then arm stroke. The progressions through the curriculum will also introduce Breaststroke and Butterfly allowing the student to be safe in the water and competent in all four swimming strokes.
This will prepare the students for a lifelong skill in swimming allowing them to swim for fun, fitness, compete in their school carnivals or participate in the sport of swimming at their local club and enjoy that experience.
